Loisaida Festival 2015
As in past years we have an agreement with the Loisaida Festival organizers to give PRIDA members a 50% discount on the fees to secure a 10′ x 10′ space at the Festival. We will be placed in the same area and we will all have something identifying us as PRIDA members.
The spaces usually cost $200.00 but as PRIDA members, with an up to date membership, your fee will be $100.00. Two or more PRIDA members can share the space.
You need several things in order to participate:
1. You must register with the Tax Department and get a Certificate of Authority if you plan to do any of the following in New York State:
a. Sell tangible personal property or provide certain taxable services.
b. Collect state and local sales tax.
c. Issue or receive New York State sales tax exemption documents, etc.

2. NYC Temporary Street Fair Vendor Permit.
You need a Certificate of Authority (above) in order to get a Vendor permit. Although there’s a link to apply online, downloading the application and applying in person is highly recommended as people have applied online without results. Applying in person with a pre-filled out application is a very quick process. File in person at the DCA Licensing Center, 42 Broadway, in Manhattan between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

3. To participate as a Vendor in the 2015 Loisaida Festival please fill out the 2015 Vendor Information Form at the Loisaida Festival website: http://www.loisaidafest.org/2015-loisaida-fest-vendor-registration-form/
4. Be sure to put “PRIDA Member” on the application to get the discount (preferably next to your name on the form). The Festival organizers will get confirmation from us about your membership status.
