Taller Guayacan Arte Taino
If you reproduce Taíno designs in your work then this video is a must see. It’s an interview with archaeologist and Taíno artisan, Daniel ‘Guayacan’ Silva Pagán. He introduces us to his collection of Taíno utensils, sacred objects, hunting and war instruments. The collection is nice but you will love his explanations coming from an archaeologist who has spent his life studying, researching and actually working with Taíno culture.
Guayacan is originally from Aguada, Puerto Rico but is now in the island of Bieke (Vieques), Boriken (Puerto Rico).
(The video is a little more than 34 minutes long and it’s in Spanish)http://vimeo.com/3nvideopro/review/84523074/052a20df6c
